Length of Appointment	60 minutes to ensure a thorough exam and time to get to know you better.
Insurance Coverage	Most insurances cover preventative services at 100%. Your out-of-pocket cost is $0 for most cases.
Cleaning During Your First Visit	If necessary, we’ll perform a cleaning. If you need a deeper cleaning (scaling & root planing), we’ll schedule a follow-up.
3D Wellness Scan	We use 3D wellness scans to gain a deeper understanding of your oral health.
Cancer Screening	We provide oral cancer screenings to ensure your peace of mind during your first visit.
Post-Visit Care and Follow-Up	After your first visit, we’ll go over any necessary follow-up care or future appointments needed.

First Visit

Do you take my insurance?

Graham Park Dental accepts most major PPO insurances. We don’t accept DHMOs at this time. Visit our Insurance page to learn more.

How long is my appointment?

We schedule 60 minutes with you during the first appointment to ensure we have the time to be as thorough as possible and to spend some time getting to know you. Unlike many dental offices, Graham Park Dental focuses on getting to know you as a person because we believe better relationships with our patients leads to better care.

Do I have to pay for my first visit?

Most dental insurances cover preventative services at 100% and your out-of-pocket cost is $0. There are some insurances where you may have a copay after your first visit but we always let you know before you are seen.

Do you always get a cleaning on your first visit?

Most of the time yes. But if you have periodontal disease and need a more in-depth cleaning called scaling and root planning, which requires numbing, we will schedule you an appointment at another date.

How much is a cleaning if I don’t have insurance?

$199, or if you join payment plan with Cherry, you will pay low monthly payment without interest.

I want to see a specific doctor—how do I do that?

If you want to see a specific doctor call us 703-663-8759 or email us at info@g-p-dental.com and we will help you get scheduled with the doctor you prefer.

I have dental anxiety what should I do?

Graham Park Dental providers are experts in working with patients who have dental anxiety. Discuss with your provider the options you have if you are anxious. Based on your providers recommendation we do offer oral sedation.

I need to cancel my appointment—what do I do?

You can cancel in the person or call us 703-663-8759 or email us at info@g-p-dental.com. Cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment to avoid $50 cancellation fee.

If I need a procedure, how much is it going to cost?

If you require a procedure, our team will work with your insurance to tell you the estimated cost. We prioritize transparency at Graham Park Dental and we want you to be informed before any procedure starts!

Where do I park when I come?

There are always free parking available in Graham Park plaza Shopping Center. The closest parking is at Camber Pl, and most of the time parking is available. Or you can park in front of the Giant Super Market. Visit our location page to see your parking options.
